It is with great pleasure that we announce our involvement with the 2010 Whitianga Festival of Speed.

held in the Whitianga Waterways over the weekend of 10th and 11th April 2010.

The dates are set for April 10 & 11 which is the weekend after Easter. Following the 2009 Festival of Speed, enquiries have been flooding in. It appears that those who attended went away raving about it and those who declined the opportunity to attend generally kicked themselves and vowed to come next time.

Who could not have been wowed by a free event which apart from some serious racing, had aircraft racing against high powered offshore power boats and rally cars? There was non-stop aerobatics even when cars, boats and motorcycles were in full cry. While the Offshore Power Boat race was the only national competition in 2009, there are at least four other national championship level events being included in the 2010 program. Those confirmed are Jet Ski Racers, Thunder Cats, Motocross, Off Road Racers but other coded have indicated they may wish to also participate at this level too.
